The zodiac signs in astronomy are a set of twelve constellations that lie along the ecliptic, which is the apparent path of the Sun across the sky over the course of a year.

Each zodiac sign is associated with a specific time period and has its own set of characteristics and traits.

The twelve signs, in order, are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

These signs have been used for centuries to predict and interpret human behavior and events based on the position of the Sun, Moon, and planets in relation to the zodiac constellations.
